This Edwardian home in a quiet leafy street in Deepdene is home to a family of four who needed to update and repurpose the functionality of some rooms to better serve their lifestyle and rituals.
Orr Made carried out a furniture project for the multi-purpose sitting room of the client and their family. The room was to serve as a space to have a cup of tea and read a book, for family board games, or for a glass of wine while entertaining guests of varied ages. Being at such cross-roads of function, the furniture had to serve in a flexible way. The outcome was sophisticated and calm with brass accents, putty wall paint, and subdued yet rich fabric selections.
Carpentry alterations and improvements included new flooring and skirtings, new paint throughout, and were managed and carried out by the BUILD team.
