HIGHTON ST

Matt and Rhiannon completed major alterations to this originally dark and cramped home, a post-war 1950’s clinker brick situated in a tree-lined street of Ringwood East. Works included opening up the original rear of the property that housed a lean-to laundry and toilet to newly include a larger kitchen with adjoining dining space and access to a rear entertaining deck.

This created an open flow living, kitchen, and dining room with new French doors at both ends capturing the morning eastern light and afternoon northern light. The bathroom was entirely demolished to include a toilet, with a restrained selection of finishes and fittings that gave a nod to an English cottage.
