We were engaged to breathe some new life into this Californian bungalow family home, which was a naturally dark space with heavy timber detailing that needed to be restored and restrained. The client was drawn to deep, moody colours and really leant into the natural darkness of some of the spaces such as the dining room, where they opted for a deep teal wall paint to add intrigue. Light fittings added ambience to the spaces whilst the furniture was a juxtaposition of sleek and modern items blended with their existing antiques.
