This property was a grand one in both scale and ornate detail. The spatial planning of the home flowed well, so it only required cosmetic updates which were, however, quite extensive. Paint, carpet, flooring, architectural hardware, lighting, and window furnishings throughout set the backdrop for the furniture to come.
The natural proportions of the spaces demanded furniture bold and heavy enough to match it. Palettes were pulled from existing stain glass, decorative scenic tiles on fireplaces, existing encaustic tiles and the surrounding landscape. The balance of sophistication and fun captures the personality of our clients, a family of six who love to gather and entertain.
